Rhythmic Reverie

Join us for our fall Rhythm Reverie dance, inspired by the 5Rhythms movement practice. This contemporary dance practice incorporates five distinct rhythms of Flow, Staccato, Lyrical, Chaos, and Stillness, all set to unique styles of music.

Our upcoming event will take place on September 21st from 7:30 to 9 PM on the Marlor House back lawn at 201 N. Wayne St., weather pending. In case of inclement weather, we will host the event inside Allen’s Market (right next door). We encourage participants to arrive 15 minutes before 7:30 PM to get settled in. The dance will begin at 7:30 PM with an opening circle, followed by an hour of free-form dancing to the rhythms, and will conclude with a closing circle. Participants are encouraged to wear comfortable, cool clothing suitable for dancing and to bring a water bottle. Barefoot, socks, ballet or dance shoes are suitable. Outdoor shoes will be removed upon entering if indoors.  Fresh, farm-made fruit popsicles will be available pre and post-dance at $4 each.

We're excited to announce that this event is FREE of charge to the community. There's no need to sign up in advance - you can just walk in and join us!
