Brazilian guitarist Diego Figueiredo has been playing guitar and mandolin since he was six years old. Now thirty-five, Figueiredo travels the world to share his special combination of classical, traditional Brazilian, and jazz music. He has recorded twenty-three CDs, three DVDs, and has performed in more than sixty countries. Figueiredo has studied music at several conservatories, including Franca, Tatuí, and Berklee College of Music. He is also an accomplished producer, arranger, and orchestrator.
Italian jazz vocalist Chiara Izzi began singing and playing piano at an early age. She has won contests throughout Europe, and her blend of jazz, pop, and Mediterranean sounds enchant audiences wherever she sings. Izzi currently lives and performs in New York City, and tours the country to share her talent. Her debut album, Motif, was recorded after she was awarded first prize at the 2011 Montreux Jazz Festival Vocal Competition by musical legend Quincy Jones. She holds a Master’s degree in Jazz Music from the Conservatory of Frosinone.
